Thomas & Friends is the number one pre-school brand in key markets and is expanding rapidly into new territories across the globe, the most recent being its broadcast premiere on Televisa in Mexico.

Adding an additional retail touchpoint for the


brand, eOne launched a dedicated online store, www.humfstore.co.uk. Recently Humf became the brand ambassador for children’s communication charity I CAN and will be the face of the charity’s 2013 Chatterbox Challenge tea party event.


Sesame Street is one of the world’s best known and loved brands. Hit shows such as Elmo’s World, The Adventures of Bert and Ernie, and new series Abby’s Flying Fairy School, all broadcast on Milkshake, add to the recognition surrounding this classic brand. A live show, Elmo Makes Music, will also be showing throughout 2013 at Butlins resorts across the UK. The brand has established retail presence


through to an extensive licensing programme that has been assembled by CPLG. Partners include master toy licensee Hasbro, which is set to add to its bestselling range with a number of lines that will be released across UK retail during 2013. Other partners include Abbey Home Media for home entertainment, William Lamb for footwear, Brecrest for babywear, Half Moon Bay for gifting, Gund for gift plush, and Pyramid for posters, postcards, stickers, badges and magnets, whilst Five Mile Press, Phidal and P.I.L are all on board for publishing. Also, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has launched an Xbox Kinect title and Microsoft will feature Sesame Street on the new Kinect TV system.


Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep returns with a brand new series of rollicking misadventures. After a Summer of competing in their own sporting extravaganza, Shaun and the Flock return along with Shaun’s best mate, the ever-faithful Bitzer, the Farmer, and all the Mossybottom Farm favourites in 20 new episodes. The much-anticipated third series is launching in Germany in January 2013 with all other key territories following in the Spring.


New to the iconic Shaun the Sheep collection of soft toys and gifts from Rainbow Designs for 2013 is the plush Shivering Shaun; pull his tail and watch him shiver. Shivering Shaun will join the 20cm and 30cm plush toys and 15cm bean toy in

A key highlight of 2013 is the release of the Thomas & Friends movie special King of the Railway. This movie premiere will be coordinated across all lines of the business, with over 50 tie-in products from around the world. This will include SKUs from Fisher-Price across playsets and vehicles.


This global pre-school event will launch with blue carpet premieres in key territories across the globe for the first time, from coast to coast in the US, Germany and the UK.


Utilising Mattel’s retail experience and


connections, Thomas & Friends will have a strong presence at retail across all categories, ensuring that Thomas’ in-store visibility remains high. With a new studio on board, Arc Productions, the quest-themed special will offer viewers more vibrant and colourful animation, exciting and engaging storylines, as well as some special guests and new locations.


2013 will be the first time all four Thomas & Friends train systems are under one roof. The new wooden railway from Fisher-Price, launching January 2013, will exhibit more features than before, while remaining true to the classic and specialty nature of the Thomas Wooden Railway line.


Global SKUs for Take-n-Play, TrackMaster, Pre-school and Thomas Wooden Railway will be unveiled at Nuremberg and NY Toy Fairs, will the SKUs that support King of the Railway.
