2013 sees the award- winning Toot-Toot range launch new playsets including the Toot-Toot Drivers Train Station (1-5 years), which comes with an electronic motorised train and two electronic carriages. This set lets kids build their own big or small Toot-Toot town with the interchangeable 24 pieces of track, conveyer belt, bridge, tunnel, ramp, water tower, crossing and station bell. The range will be supported with a new TV creative and on-going PR. Also new to the play-set range is the Toot-Toot

Drivers Construction Site (1-5 years) which comes complete with one electronic dumper truck. This heavy-duty construction site features a crane that moves from left to right, a slide, shape sorters and ball drop play for imaginative play. Five SmartPoint sensors trigger vehicle responses to ensure children are still learning whilst they play. The Toot-Toot Drivers Construction Site connects to different combinations and other Toot-Toot playsets. Entering the range is the Toot-Toot Drivers Press

& Go Launcher (1-5 years) which launches the complimentary electronic racing Toot-Toot car across the track. The Launcher can also launch the racing car over a jump ramp and crash platform, complete with crash tyres using two SmartPoint recognition sensors which identifies the race car. Both toy sets attach to other Toot-Toot drivers playsets so kids are able to expand their collection. For 2013 VTech is introducing new additions to the collectable Switch & Go Dinos range, the boys toy which combines dinosaurs and cars into one toy. New to the range for 3-8 year olds are Abner the Amargasaurus, who transforms from a car to dino, Sammo the Stygimoloch, who switches from a high speed racing car to a dino, Torr the Therizinosaurus who changes from an army-style truck and Akuna the Velociraptor who alters from a motorbike in a few simple steps. All the new Switch & Go Dinos play dino roars using real sound technology when they move and transform, as well as action buttons which activate specific dinosaur facts and sound effects. New to the range is Mega T-Rex (3-8 years) who switches from a huge tough construction vehicle to a gigantic T-Rex; he is almost ten times the size of the original Switch & Go Dinos in the range. Featuring voice recognition technology Mega T-Rex can be commanded to move forwards, backwards and launch his drill. The LCD screen displays drivers and dino faces as well as more mechanical

actions. The additions will be supported with a new TV creative and on going PR. The Kidicreative range, which includes the

award-winning Kidizoom camera, will be expanding with a number of additions. Kidizoom Touch (3-9 years) is the brand new Kidizoom with a three-inch colour touch screen, two 2MP lenses on the front and back of the toy, MP3 player, SD card expansion and PC connection. The toy has photo morphing features and special effects including black and white, sepia and fish eyes. Kidizoom Twist Plus (3-9 years) has been enhanced and updated with the latest technology for 2013. New features include a motion trigger self-timer, face detection, stop-motion video creator, menu screen personalisation, photo burst mode and more. The new and improved Kidizoom Twist has a 2.3 inch colour LCD screen and connects to the Learning Lodge Navigator for downloadable games, themes, apps and more. The Kidizoom Twist Plus is also available in pink and will be supported with TV advertising as well as PR. InnoTab 2 (4-9 years), has a built-in 1.3 mega pixel camera with a rotating ‘self-portrait’ lens. Children will be able to take their own picture, use the editing suite to add special effects to it and then use their photo in various games, in a similar way to the Kidizoom camera. As well as all the functions in the InnoTab, such as the video player, art studio, G sensor, learning apps and online benefits via the Learning Lodge Navigator, the InnoTab 2 will also feature a built-in microphone for enhanced gameplay and video recording. VTech has signed several partnership

agreements which will give InnoTab owners access to a huge library of videos of TV programmes, mini e-books and music content. The move will enable kids to make the most of the InnoTab 2’s expandable memory. The content, from the Learning Lodge Navigator (LLN), has hundreds of downloads including TV shows, music and e-books featuring children’s favourite characters and artists such as Peppa Pig, Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Thomas & Friends, as well as a host of famous artists from the Sony Music catalogue. The new downloads are available now.
