New for 2013 will be the Mixy Surprise Snap Bags. Following the successful launch of Style Me Up! Color Freedom in 2012, the


new range of Color Freedom fashion accessories will relaunch in 2013. These bags, purses, pencil cases and handbags let girls aged eight years plus express their style using the fabric pens included. Style Me Up! sketchbooks and fashion accessories will also be developed in 2013 following success in 2012. Wooky will be introducing Design Masters which has teamed up with Lamborghini and Ford to create sketchbooks for boys. Design Masters is about technical sketching and is a seven years plus-focused boy brand that combines precision, drawing with sophisticated design and allows boys to create their own style in rides by drawing, sketching, personalising and detailing their own car designs. With two kits featuring in the Telegraph’s Top Ten Science kits, another two winning Gold Parents Choice awards, and a couple of Practical Pre-School awards, the year has been rounded off nicely with a nomination for one of the Toy Industry TOTY awards for the second year running. This year Thames and Kosmos is introducing Brad the Science Dude. Brad was part of the comedy team ‘Punk Science’ who had their own TV show, and author of ‘Do try this at home’ and ‘Cook It’. This American Edutainment Wiz has worked wonders in schools across the UK and Europe, and has a track record in interactive learning. He will be promoting the Thames and Kosmos range of kits on the booth. Thames and Kosmos science kits are manufactured in Germany, and offer hands-on


learning through experimentation and model building. They include comprehensive full-colour books and instructions, cover relevant topics, consist of high-quality materials and custom-designed parts. The kits provide fun activities for effective learning throughout the 60-strong range, which is organised into four series: Little Labs, Ignition Series, Exploration Series & Signature Series, according to their complexity and the recommended age of the user. The kits are also organised into twelve subject categories. This year there are 20 new kits to add to the range.
