Its next launch of more than 100 new lines refl ects the detail, realism and movement for which Papo has become known. These new items feature themes ranging from Wild Animals to Dinosaurs, from Horses to Farm, and from Weapon Masters to Fantasy. New introductions to the expanding Papo range include Tales and Legends: Elf Child on a Swan.
This fi gurine complements the additional items in this popular range, and helps to further encourage children’s imaginative play. Also under the Dinosaurs theme is the Carnotaurus. This carnivorous dinosaur, otherwise known as the ‘Meat-Eating Bull’, is the latest addition to the highly detailed Papo Dinosaur range. With its ferocious look, short arms and horns atop its eyes, it is designed for children and collectors alike. To complement the entire collection, Papo has expanded its wooden environment range for 2013 to support each theme, offering a complete concept. These include the ‘Girly’ Horse Box, the Mutant Pirate Fantasy Boat and the Galactic Fortress. Papo also introduces in 2013 the Galactic Adventure, an entirely new range of 22 fi gurines. This is a completely new universe that has already been successful with children, as previewed and approved by several key customers within the toy trade across Europe.

The range is spearheaded by the Disney Princess Dazzling Princess Game, and also features other popular licences such as Jake and the Never Land Pirates. The games stand out with eye-catching Disney graphics and magical gameplay. Magic Box Int, the company behind the Gogo’s
Crazy Bones phenomenon, is back with a new collectable craze for 2013 in the form of Kobots – Dual Action Game. Kobots features 96 collectable and detailed fi gurines from six different teams. Kobots’ innovative new gameplay uses ‘Krators’ to fl ick the fi gurines’ bases and launch them either onto targets or each other. The February launch will be supported by extensive TV support. Whilst Esdevium will continue to offer its range
of evergreen collectables and games at London Toy Fair, new additions for 2013 will be available, including a brand new Wallace & Gromit Rocket Race board game and the fi rm launch of the TV- licensed The Big Bang Theory party game. www.inspirationworks.co.uk InspirationWorks’ pre-school range will be on show on The Sales Partnership’s stand again this year, and will boast new items for evergreen licences, as well as introducing new properties to the portfolio. Peppa Pig has, over the last year, won her 3rd Bafta
and regained her title as number one pre-school licence in October (NPD), and InspirationWorks is continuing to bolster its successful ELA range with new products for 2013. The Peppa Pig Notebook is a mini laptop, with full alpha numerical keyboard and mouse pad. The screen shows eight folders illustrating different scenes, which each teach children different skills such as colours, quantities, letters, character names and sounds, and allows them to listen to music. Disney Princess continues to go from
strength to strength and the fi rm will this year be introducing two new items to the collection. The Disney Princess Tablet is a pre-school version of the popular gadget. Through play, the device will help teach children about colours, numbers, observation, matching and all about the Disney Princess characters. And after its success in 2012, a refreshed Disney Princess Smartphone launches in 2013. The realistic-looking, touch-sensitive phone has four game modes and allows kids to make pretend calls, while learning about numbers, colours and more. For boys, InspirationWorks is further growing its Fireman Sam offering with the Fireman Sam
Communicator. The device features each of the key Fireman Sam characters, as well as the real character voices to guide kids through the games and learning modes, which allow them to become part of the rescuing action, while learning many new skills. Brand new to the InspirationWorks product portfolio this year, and moving the company outside of the pre-school arena again, is Bin Weevils. Constantly growing its registered users and picking up its 2nd Bafta in 2012 as well as many other awards along the way, the new property is already a big hit. InspirationWorks will be launching a number of new products, including the Bin Weevils Lab’s Lab Scientifi c Kits, suitable for age six year plus, and in a number of themes including Ice Planet, Soap and Slime. Also extending the range are some Weevil novelty toys. Come along to the stand for their unveiling. Also on show will be Mike the Knight, Scooby Doo, DC Superfriends and Me to You lines, as well as InspirationWorks’ very own annoying plush, Noisy Norman.
