01473 322 000 | www.drumondpark.com Drumond Park’s design and development team has developed an innovative selection of new games. Some of the launches are being kept under wraps until the day the show opens, but some of the products – both new introductions and refreshments of popular titles – will be tried and tested on the stand. Wordsearch, the popular ‘race’ format game introduced by Drumond Park a few years ago, now has an educational Wordsearch Junior version for children aged four years and up being prepared for launch in Autumn. It is designed in a format similar to the original game, but now children can also spot shapes and patterns and pictures of animals, vehicles, foods, etc, which are shown in the word selection aperture on the ten double- sided discs which come with the game. Mask-A-Rade, consists of six pairs of pretend spectacles for children to wear, to which they affix any one of 90 different face masks portraying animals and people. are. If they get a ‘yes’ answer they keep having another go until they get the character right. If they get a ‘no’ they are out for that round, and the next player starts asking his or her questions. Drumond Park’s able to produce product with longevity both through in-store sales and in terms of long-lasting game playing. For the new season, refreshment has been going on in the design studio, alongside the introduction of lower price breaks for a number of products. The running-about Bubble Buster action

game, which has sold more than 250,000 units nationwide over the past few years, has been revamped as The Bubble Buster Kazoo Game for children aged four years plus. It’s now a game for two individual players, with one child blowing the stream of bubbles and the second dashing around bursting them with the smiley electronic wand. The wand registers each burst bubble, and at the end of the game tells players who is the winner and has burst the most. The Rapidough family team game of modelling

charades will soon be sporting a brand new box, redesigned to be more appealing at point-of-sale, and the contents have been refreshed. Both the product and the packaging for Doh

Nutters, for children aged four year plus, have had a colourful makeover, with the colours of the jolly trunk masks now matching the rings. As well as updating the selection of words in the family version of

Wordsearch, Drumond Park has also introduced an Expansion Pack providing additional word selections for 20 new topics, on ten new discs.
