the GB Toys portfolio with the launch coinciding with the 75th anniversary year. 2013 will see the Dennis TV show encouraging demand for the new toy line up. The key lines include the Prankster set and RC Battle Vehicle, whilst a host of pocket money-priced treats will create instant purchase opportunities. Go MINI launched in 2012 and
represents the fi rm’s largest-ever TV campaign. The collection will expand for 2013 with a new series of vehicles for all sizes of this iconic range; including the RC Wolf. The hero item will be the HQ Playset which comes with a spinning turn table, lights, sounds, a vertical wall feature and a rooftop parking space with hidden chute, as well as a showroom to display the latest model. My 1st JCB offers a range with longevity following a new fi ve-year deal. As the only characterised pre-school construction vehicle brand on the market, the range will expand with new vehicles as well as a brand new RC Vehicle Joey GT, adding to the RC Doug Dump Truck. Following a successful limited launch, Something Special will fully roll out for
Autumn/Winter 2013. The collection offers an array of Mr Tumble toys including an Interactive Plush with sounds and phrases, plus other products. Golden Bear’s In the Night Garden toy collection will be available from Summer 2013 and features favourite characters in a mixture of fi gurines, plastic and plush. Two hero lines will be the Glowing Night Time Iggle Piggle which gentle plays the theme tune whilst the character’s cheeks glow, and Play-a-Tune Upsy Daisy, which allows children to play their own tune by pressing the buttons on her skirt. Another new collection inspired by parental demand is Woolly and Tig. The plush character in the new TV programme, Woolly the Spider is every child’s reassuring comfort friend. As Master Toy licensee, Golden Bear has created a range of plush and electronic toys including a soft poseable Woolly, plus an RC version that scuttles along in a lifelike fashion. Other new pre-school licensed play will include further development in the
Bananas in Pyjamas collections, a new Adventure Playhouse for Poppy Cat, and a new look for the Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom range with brand new pink packaging. Chloe also continues on her adventures with the Chloe’s Closet Magical Dress-Up Closet complete with sounds and fl ashing lights. Shoulder Buddies will see its third series launch with the introduction of limited edition Gemstone characters, plus Hello Kitty licensed Buddies will add to the choice. Another collectable called Dudes will also be added to the portfolio and offers a Boys range with 24 micro-fi gures to hunt, all with their own QR codes that unlock areas of the Dudes online community. A new electronic plush range called CuddleBoo has also taken residence in Telford and offers soft interactive pets.
