highlight of year 11, as I am sure everyone will agree as well.
I would also like to thank all the House Staff and pupils who came and supported us when we were bouncing and also by sponsoring us, including Mr Kirkwood who helped with some bouncing even though he could not stay in the middle of the trampoline! Also to say thank you to Graham who stayed up all night with us watching films that I am sure he was not interested in. I know he wanted to go on the trampoline after all that time. My biggest thank you is to of course Miss P, who has to be the funniest teacher I have met with her Brownie impression, hyper moments, hugging George the sheep all night and then knocking over Ms Walley’s cake that she had made. Without you we wouldn’t have been able to do this charity event in the first place and raise over £1,000. You put up with us for 18 hours straight which must be any teacher’s worst nightmare but I’m sure you enjoyed it as much as we all did. So on behalf of myself and everyone who took part thank you so much for everything you have done for us - we could not have done it without you. I think we should do a 24 hour one next time and see if you still want to see us the next day! Thank you.

In the penultimate week of term we had a spot boarding inspection by OFSTED to look specifically at Safeguarding Children. I am pleased to say that they were happy with their visit and had no major recommendations to make. They were impressed with the students that they met and all the policies and procedures that we have in place.
