would like to thank Stevie for going with Graham in the buggy to collect them and even helped by shining the torch on all the Sixth Formers she found on the way and telling them off as if she was the teacher!
By one o’clock Miss P thought it would be a good idea for groups to have one hour ‘shifts’ while others went to sleep. Most people found it hard to get to sleep, especially with the constant creaking of the trampoline but by 03:00 everyone was either asleep or doing their bouncing ‘shift’. Miss P thought this was also a good idea to take embarrassing photos of everyone asleep, which I’m sure we were all grateful for especially, when put up in assembly - we will get you back Miss!
Around 9 o’clock everyone was awake and hungry. When breakfast arrived we all dived in as if we had not eaten for days, apart from Cameron who was still asleep in the middle of the netball courts tucked in someone else’s quilt, bless him. At 12.29pm everyone piled onto the trampoline which wasn’t a good idea as the trampoline was now touching the floor. We counted down the last 10 seconds together. If you were anywhere nearby you probably would have heard the screams echoing through Genesis. I have to admit it was lovely to hear no more squeaks from the trampoline.
I would like to take this moment to thank everyone who took part in year 11. I will never forget the many laughs we had and I would not have changed it for anything. Everyone made it so fun and entertaining and we worked amazingly as a team to get through 18 hours with each other. I have to admit I am proud of what we achieved together. Many people will think it was only jumping for 18 hours and not really that hard, but it can get tiring and that is where the kick of coffee comes in, but I enjoyed every second of it and it will definitely be a
