25.1 What are Secondary
Economic Activities? Secondary economic activities refer to the making or manufacturing of products, often in factories. Raw/ resource materials – the inputs or ingredients needed to make the products – are processed (changed) to become new products. These new products – the outputs – can be either finished products or semi-finished products.
