the personal care market through its range of alky polyglucosides, alkanolamides, amine oxides and betaines. The betaines range includes its recently developed Ultra Low Salt Betaine, the next step in personal care formulations. Low Salt Betaine can provide foam boosting,


increased lather, skin mildness and more. These surfactants are free from sulphates, parabens and animal testing throughout whilst being biodegradable and naturally sourced, making them complaint with varying lifestyles. Libra’s EFfCI-compliant betaine plant at its UK site is one of the largest specialized plants available, allowing for large-scale and automatic production of high-quality and pure betaines for personal care.


MFCI (R78), a Chinese firm that has been making UV filters for 30 years, will showcase its ingredients for sunscreen products. These include Mfsorb 104, Mfsorb 502, Mfsorb 512. Mfsorb 512 is said to have excellent light


stability, strong UVA protection, excellent solubility, great formulation flexibility, good compatibility with other UV filters and cosmetic ingredients, and excellent free radical protection. In addition to sunscreen ingredients, it also makes other UV-related products such as Mfbooster 520 and Mfsorb Colomate.


Mibelle Biochemistry (R40) will launch a brand new ingredient to address the hot topic of NAD+ in cosmetics. NAD+ plays a crucial role in various cellular processes and has received significant attention in anti-ageing supplements. However, the use of NAD+ in cosmetics failed
