Procedure: Heat phase A at 75°C under emulsifier 2500rpm and maintain agitation under these conditions for 15 minutes. Add B mixture under emulsifier 2500 rpm for 10 minutes. Add mixture C under emulsifier 2500 rpm for 10 minutes. Before emulsifying, add D under 2500 rpm for 10 minutes. Heat E at 75°C. Emulsify E in ABCD under 2500 rpm for 15 minutes. Cool down to 35°C with gentle agitation (paddles). Add F materials, one by one, under gentle agitation (paddles) and maintain agitation for 20 minutes. Properties: pH = 5.3 Microscopic appearance: Fine, tight emulsion with a few small globules Stable for one month at RT, 45°C, 55°C, cycles and 4°C.

Procedure: Mix A (70-75°C). Mix B (70-75°C). Add extremaly slowly A to B (70-75°C) Homogenize 4 minutes at 8000 rpm. Add C one by one to AB. Mix extra 10 minutes slowly with cooling bath to cool down product to RT (RT).

Procedure: Under mixing, disperse Avicel® into water heated to 75°C, mix for about 20 minutes. Add A2 to A1 under rapid mixing for about 10 minutes. Prepare premix A3 and add to A1+A2 under mixing. Prepare B and heat to 75°C. Under rapid mixing (Rotor/ Stator 3000 rpm), add B into A1+A2+A3. Maintain rapid mixing for about 10 minutes. Cool under mixing. Add C under low mixing at about 30°C. Cool under low mixing and add C. Properties: Aspect: Off white emulsion pH = 6.5 ± 0.5 Viscosity Brookfield RV (spindle A, speed 5): approx. 4 000 mPa.s after 24h

Procedure: Combine items A – E and propeller mix until uniform. Heat to 75-85°C. Combine items F – I and heat to 75-85°C. Combine items J – L and mix with magnetic stir bar until homogenous. While homogenizing at 4000rpm for 4 minutes, add items F – I to the Main Batch first and then add items J – L to the Main Batch. Transfer to gentle anchor mixing. At 55°C, add items M and N.
