Chemyunion (V40) will unveil skincare ingredient Peptid4 S-Control, a patented synthetic tripeptide that reduces and controls skin oiliness with immediate and long-lasting results, while reducing visible pores. Peptid4 S-Control works by blocking the melanocortin 5 receptor (MC5-R), making it an ideal solution for oil control for both young and mature skin. The ingredient is said to reduce skin oiliness
by 15% in just four hours and reduce sebum production by 30% after 14 days. It is a vegan ingredient and has a natural origin of 98.75% (ISO 16128).
Clariant (H70) will unveil Rootness Mood+, a natural active ingredient derived from the roots of Sanguisorba officinalis (Great Burnet). These roots are cultivated under aeroponic conditions, courtesy of the eco-responsible Plant Milking technology. Rich in tormentic acid derivatives, it targets the main skin photoreceptors to mediate light transduction signal and improves vitamin D effects to increase the release of well-being molecules: mood is boosted, and skin tone is improved. In addition, Clariant will introduce
Aristoflex Eco T—a patented rheology modifier crafted from Tara Gum and 2-acrylamido- 2-methylpropane sulfonic acid (AMPS). The readily biodegradable rheology modifier combines the performance of synthetic polymers and sustainability of biopolymers.

Cobiosa (W30) will showcase two advanced biotechnological active ingredients for skin care: Cobiostem Alerce and Dunalina. Cobiostem Alerce is made from plant stem cells derived from the longest-living ancient tree (5,400 years old) in the plant kingdom: the Alerce. It is extracted and biotechnologically regenerated to reveal the secret of longevity for the skin. Dunalina is made from extremophile
microalgae and fights against ageing as it is able to survive to the most extreme conditions of salinity and solar radiation.
Cooperative Parfums Provence Ventoux (D30D) will display its high quality pure and natural lavandin, lavender and clary sage essential oils in industrial quantity, as well as some smaller volumes of helichrysum, savory and oregano essential oils.
