Procedure: Heat phase A to 80°C-85°C. Heat phase B to 80°C. Add phase A to phase B under strong agitation using an Ultra-Turrax® (10.000rpm, 5min) /Rayneri (3000rpm, 10min). Let cool down to room temperature under gentle agitation (800rpm). At T<40°C add phase C. Then adjust the pH with phase D to get a final pH of 5.0 - 5.5. Properties: Viscosity: 5500 cP (Spindle: 29 / Speed: 50rpm / Temp: 20°C / Torque: 33% / S STR: 600 D/cm" / S - 1min) pH value: 5.5

Procedure: Add Ultrez 10 to water, mix well until completely hydrated. Heat to 70- 75˚C, then add remaining ingredients of Phase A. Combine Phase B ingredients and heat to 70-75˚C. Add Phase B to Phase A, mix well. Add Phase C, homogenize for 3 minutes. Cool batch to 40˚C. Add Phase D ingredients, mix until uniform.

Procedure: Heat phase A to 75 °C while stirring slowly. Heat phase B to 75 °C, add phase B to phase A and homogenise under vacuum for 5 minutes. Cool down while stirring. At 45 °C, add phase C to phase AB while stirring slowly. At 40 °C, add phase D to the mixture ABC while stirring slowly. Cool down to room temperature while stirring slowly. Properties: Viscosity: 100000 cPs (BRK HP 95, 20 °C, 1.5 rpm, torque 32%) pH value: 5.0–5.5 (original) Stability: Stable for at least 12 weeks at 45 °C. Stable for at least 12 weeks at 5 °C. Stable for at least 12 weeks at room temperature.
