Procedure: Mix together Phase A and heat to 70°C until solid has melted. Weigh out Phase B. Transfer Phase A onto an overhead mixer with a propeller head fitted and stir at 750rpm while slowly adding Phase B over 5 minutes. Add Phase C and stir well.

Procedure: Separately mix A and B at 80°C. Add B to A and homogenise for 5 minutes. Cool down at 40°C while stirring.

Procedure: Add A2 into A1 and stir well to form homogenous opaque slurry. In a separate beaker, dissolve B2 into B1. Gradually add the solution from step 2 into slurry in step 1. Mix well until it forms a thick transparent gel. Add C1-C3 one by one into bulk. Mix well after each addition. Properties: Appearance: Clear gel pH: 6.0-6.5 Viscosity at 25°C (spindle 4, speed 6), cPs: approx. 20000

Procedure: Melt Phase A components at approximately 104°C. Add Phase B to melted Phase A and mix at 104°C for 15 minutes. Add Phase C to the blend and mix at 104°C for 30 minutes. Add Phase D components to blend and mix at 104°C for 2 hours. Pour blend into sample containers and allow to cool.
