Presenters encompass leading experts from countries and regions that define the beauty landscape and will include the IFSCC, Givaudan and others ■ Innovations from the Exhibit Floor, moderated by Yarden Horwitz of Spate, on the Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Learn about the innovations and solutions provided by Suppliers’ Day exhibitors, some of which are being introduced in North America for the first time, then visit and experience them up close in their exhibition booth


Other events The Suppliers’ Day ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick off the event on opening day. Join NYSCC leaders of yesterday, today and tomorrow, as well as industry executives who have enabled us to have Suppliers’ Day live and in-person, as we come together as a community to ‘embrace beauty’ and ‘celebrate all we create’ at the first formulations event in nearly two years. The NYSCC also invites members to bring


a guest to a special member/guest breakfast and introduce someone new to all that SCC membership has to offer. There will also be a


raffle to win a trip to the IFSCC 2022 Congress in London. The mentor/mentee breakfast, with co-


chairs Ava Atri and Mary Fendelander of the Mentorship Committee, aims to establish and cultivate meaningful professional relationships. A robust database programme will also be unveiled at this event. The Future Chemists Workshop (FCW) led


by John Carola, chair of FCW, with instruction by Cynthia Johnson, founder and CEO of Cindy J Cosmetic Labs, is now a popular Suppliers’ Day tradition. It provides an interactive learning environment and challenge for university students and leaders of tomorrow from all over the country to design formulations that promote key industry trends. Join the SCC for its second annual career


development day on Thursday, 11 November. Attendees will be able to meet and talk with representatives from colleges and universities who specialise in cosmetic science education, as well as connecting with employers in the cosmetics and personal care industry who offer internships and/or are looking to hire for entry-level positions. The SCC will also have speakers addressing various topics that will propel career paths in the cosmetics and personal care industry. The NYSCC’s Industry Awards & Education


Night will take place on 10 November at HK. The eight finalists of the CEW Beauty Creators Supplier’s Award - Actera, BASF, Eastman, EverCare, Geltor, Grant, Mana and SurfactGreen - will be celebrated along with the eventual winner. Scholarships and other awards will also be presented. The day after the in-person show ends,


12 November, marks the kick-off of NYSCC Suppliers’ Day virtual experience. This will literally be an immersive experience with attendees feeling like they entered the Javits Centre and will give them a 360-degree view of the actual exhibits and expo floor as well as content – all accessible from their desktops or mobile devices.
