Manila Hosts SiGMA Asia 2024
Over 250 exhibitors and 350 speakers attended the SMX Convention Centre in Pasay, Manila, for SiGMA Asia 2024.
SiGMA Asia announced that it will hold next year’s event in Manila once again between 1-4 June, 2025, the third event to be held in the Philippines.

MACAU – GGR in Macau surged by 30 per cent in May with mass gaming revenues, including premium mass, setting new records. The May total came in at US$2.52bn, marking a 29.7 per cent increase and up 8.9 per cent month-on-month, whilst setting the best monthly total since the onset of the pandemic.
JP Morgan highlighted that the record mass and premium mass GGR saw mass back to 95 per cent of 2019 and premium mass surge passed it at130 per cent. Analysts said this was 'quite impressive’ given investor concerns elsewhere in China.

Te SMX Convention Centre, Manila’s largest expo venue, saw over 350 speakers discuss the challenges and innovations shaping the future of Asia’s gaming and emerging tech markets, with over 250 exhibitors making up a bustling, two-floor expo.
A keynote speech was delivered by PAGCOR Chairman and CEO, Alejandro H. Tengco, during the official conference opening ceremony. PAGCOR took part in a panel discussion focusing on gaming regulations, the IGL licence and the current state of the iGaming landscape in the Philippines, and Tengco also toured the expo floor where he met with some of the exhibitors.

Te Star Entertainment Group has warned it expects to generate a 3.3 per cent year-on-year fall in revenues and 4.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter decline in Q2 revenues, highlighting more declines in its premium gaming segment.

Te conference and expo runs across the 3rd and 4th – taking place once more at the SMX Convention Centre in Pasay, Manila.
Tis will be the third event to be held in the Philippines, following SiGMA Asia’s inaugural launch back in July 2023, and will see a 40 per cent increase in footprint, with a number of new areas included in the floorplan.
SiGMA Asia will also hold an iGathering retreat in Incheon, South Korea, this August. Te VIP guest experience, which is supported by K36, will include two nights at Inspire Entertainment Resorts’ new integrated resort, as well as a full agenda of networking and conference activities.
