Niklas Mravllje, Director of Product Marketing at Bragg Gaming, sits down with G3 Media to

discuss crash-style games and how they might hold the key to unlocking emerging new markets.

usually gravitate towards the more locally popular games, such as Keno, alongside slots. Tat being said, with new affordability restrictions and stake limits coming in the UK during Q3, that may change and increase the popularity of crash style games, as the win potential is often quite high.

Niklas Mravllje Director of Product Marketing Bragg Gaming

Across Bragg Gaming Group's roster of in- house studios, does one of Atomic Slot Lab, Indigo Magic or Wild Streak Gaming specialise in crash titles, or do they all contribute crash content?

At the present time, our Indigo Magic proprietary games studio is leading the way in the production of crash-style games for Bragg, however we’ve got ambitious plans to expand not only both the number of crash games we produce but also the number of proprietary studios and our exclusive content partners crash related content available on the Bragg Remote Gaming Server (RGS) through the addition of new content aggregation partners.

With the growing popularity of crash games across the globe, these types of games are going to take a larger role in the Bragg gaming portfolio throughout late 2024 and into 2025.

Where are Bragg's crash titles most popular and, conversely, where haven't they taken off - pardon the terrible pun?

We’ve just launched our first proprietary crash game– Golfing Glory which is great, and being well received by our operator partners. Based on in-house data produced from our Bragg HUB aggregation platform, we’ve noted that crash games are extremely popular in the Latam region, the Netherlands, Sweden and the wider Nordics, as well as some eastern European countries, like Romania.

Based on my experience, crash games will usually have a greater difficulty in succeeding in well-established regulated markets like the UK and Italy. Players in those markets will

Who is the typical crash player? Is it the stereotypical tech savvy younger generation of player that wants a feeling of choice in-game, or is it broader than that?

In a lot of ways, crash-style games are games made for the new, younger generations of players. While older players used to and to a larger extent still do enjoy the entertainment value that slots and other types of games can provide, the average modern-day player only has a limited time that they are willing to dedicate to you or your product and if they are not entertained in that time they will move on.

Crash games are the perfect solution for this, as their instant staking, instant gratification approach allows even the busiest of players to spend a lot of time on the games themselves. Te modern player usually gambles on their phone, on which they will have as many as 100 apps, and often will only spend between three-five minutes of their time on an app before moving on.

Tis is similar to what we encounter in gaming apps, players are looking to spend a very limited amount of time on the game, have the flexibility (crash games offer the option to cash-out at any point) and either win big, or go home. In exchange for that, they are willing to lower the previously requested entertainment value, more traditional games provide.

In addition, a big selling point for Crash games is the high win potential, despite it being similar, if not the same as in a slot. Te high potential win will always stand out more in a crash-style game and attract more players because of the instant win nature of the game.

What creative, technical and logistical challenges do crash games pose?

As with any initially niche market which is gradually starting to make its way into the
