However, for day-to-day operations, we rely more on our account managers to handle client communications. Tey have a comprehensive understanding of both our internal processes and the operator's needs, allowing them to see the bigger picture and direct us effectively.
Tis approach ensures that our technical team can focus on their core responsibilities while staying aligned with customer expectations and business objectives. Te account managers bridge the gap, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between our tech team and the clients.
As a client-centric company, how are customer priorities shifting? What qualities do they value most in a tech supplier, and how have these values changed - if at all - since the inception of GR8 Tech?
One of the biggest drivers of change in customer priorities has been the ever-evolving regulatory landscape. Requirements that were relevant when a Letter of Intent was signed can become irrelevant in just a few months. So, staying compliant with local regulations has become increasingly important, and our clients expect us to navigate these changes seamlessly, which we do.
Aside from this, I wouldn’t say there are any major changes in customer priorities. Te iGaming industry is quite isolated, and despite its extremely fast pace, major shifts in product and technological trends are quite rare.
Each month GR8 Tech releases a batch of platform updates across the product suite. What have been the biggest to date in 2024?
Te answer to this question would be different depending on who you ask, as there are many to choose from. From my technical perspective, one of the biggest updates is our widget system, which enables the dynamic assembly of a website from “building blocks,” greatly simplifying the process of creating and managing content. It's a game-changer for usability, providing our clients with a more flexible and intuitive way to build their online presence.
The iGaming industry is quite conservative. Many still believe that traditional interfaces, inherited from early physical betting shops and slot machines, are what people want. It's like the floppy disk icon we use to
save files; new generations don’t even recognise it as a real thing anymore. Sooner or later, these old
approaches to iGaming products will need to change. As new generations come in, they won’t accept these outdated interfaces.
Developments in Data API, which allows for easier integration and access to information, are also crucial. Tis update enhances our platform's flexibility, making it simpler for our clients to integrate data into their systems and workflows. It’s all about giving them the tools they need to be more efficient and responsive to their needs.
Last but not least, every update related to our GR8 Sportsbook iFrame. Tis product offers an easy way to add a Sportsbook to the operator’s offering, drastically reducing the challenges of integrating this traditionally complex product.
Each update we introduce streamlines the process for our clients and adds more potent and promising features, enabling the operators to offer their users premium sports betting offerings with minimal hassle.
What are clients currently asking for? What’s upcoming on the development roadmap?
