Crash Games BRAGG GAMING

mainstream, players' expectations and requirements for these games are growing exponentially. Lots of these types of games will offer a chat style feature in which active players are shown things like a history of their previous results, multiplayer options etc, all features you would not traditionally encounter in a slot game.

To create a strong stand-out game in a quickly growing and populating market, developers will need to invest a lot in additional technology and resources required to make the games stand out.

What's key to delivering a captivating visual crash experience where every graphical detail contributes to the excitement of the game?

It's a combination of things really, first off its the technology, as I mentioned previously. Te other 50 per cent will be the themes you choose with your game, as they may be more or less appealing in certain countries. It’s hard to innovate in such simple format games, however there are still improvements to the quality of the entertainment on offer which you can deliver to your players.

For example, our Indigo Magic studio introduced to Golfing Glory the ability to place three bets at once, also offering an auto-payout feature which can be preset. Tematically, the games need to excel, and there must be enough action and animations on screen to keep the player engaged for the limited amount of time they are willing to dedicate to your product.

How do you build a narrative of controlled tension in crash games - one that balances emotion and rationality?

As with anything, it's about understanding your players, their needs, preferences and responding accordingly. Data is a huge part of this process, in that we use data driven insights from our portfolio to determine the things that we include in our games. Additionally, the need to be mindful in our game design creating a rational environment where players can have fun, but responsibly, without putting themselves at risk of gambling-related harm is paramount.

The quality of any game is measured in the user experience. How does the testing process differ for crash titles?

It's a very interesting question since crash style games are usually multiplayer in format. Tey require a different style of testing, in which multiple quality assurance personnel test at the same time, ostensibly to see how this impacts game results and history. While the game appears simpler than the traditional slots game, the testing and quality assurance processes behind it are much more

What scope is there for the introduction of bonus features and localisation elements in crash games? Do gamification elements fit the crash profile?

Tere’s a lot of scope for the introduction of bonus features and localisation elements into crash games and we cater to that with our Fuze promotional toolset. With Fuze, we can introduce things like competitions, competition leaderboards on the games or even quests into crash games, and later this year, we’re excited to offer the option to equip crash games using our Fuze technology with a jackpot for the first time.

In terms of localisation, we are currently working on a couple of bespoke projects with our operator partners, which will see them receive bespoke and unique titles, which are uniquely tailored to their brands, and will we hope help them and the reputation of our games grow.

Looking at the Group's existing portfolio of crash games with a critical eye, how can Bragg improve and update its crash titles?

We want to expand our portfolio of crash- themed games, adding more titles and a wider variety of themes, and this is something that we’re already working on. While individual elements of the UI and games are being refined, new themes and elements are being developed all the time and this is something we’ll be working on extensively in the future to expand the portfolio available to our customers.

Relative to other verticals Bragg creates content for, to what degree is the production focus on crash games going forwards?

Within the Indigo Magic team, roughly 10 per cent of team members' time is currently dedicated to the creation of Crash-themed games. However, with the escalating popularity of crash games with both operators and players, this is definitely going to increase, and we’ve already begun to scale up our crash games development.

What's next for Bragg portfolio of crash titles?

Currently, we’re focusing on creating bespoke versions of Golfing Glory for our operator partners. However, our players can look forward to many improvements and updates to the current game, as well as the rollout of unique and bespoke versions of the game in Te Netherlands and the USA. Towards the end of this year, we plan to release our second crash-themed title, which promises to be an exciting time for Bragg and our customers alike.
