approach enables the helicopter to be adapted to suit the range of transport needs for VIP clients, from family weekends to transporting corporate clients in luxury. The interior

design was created in the Mercedes-Benz

Advanced Design Studio in Como, Italy. It uses high-end materials, wood panelling and spacious multi-function boxes with various equipment options. The ambient cabin lighting can be adjusted to a number of different colour and brightness settings, based on the technology of the S and E-Class to engage the user in emotional design. The

interior represents communicates the

Mercedes-Benz design language by fulfilling the very highest expectations in terms of elegance, luxury and comfort. To achieve the diverse requirements of VIP activities all seats are fixed to a rail system. This gives the interior the versatility to be reconfigured to suit four to eight passengers. L'HELICOPTRE PAR HERMES

The French fashion company Hermès collaborated with Eurocopter, to create

l'helicoptre par Hermès. A luxury

helicopter, which was launched at the national business aviation association's 2007 conference in Atlanta. The project was an investigation into designing a helicopter from the user's perspective. It was specifically aimed at the business aviation marketplace as an end-to-end transportation solution, transferring the high-end luxury traveller from the city to the airport; the perfect complement to business jets. [4]

The lead designer Gabriele Pezzini collaborated with Eurocopter engineers and Hermès craftsmen to realize the final design, shown in Figure 3. The objective of which was to improve the helicopter's aesthetics and functionality, through innovations that enhanced the overall experience for the user and streamlined the helicopter's production. l'helicoptre par hermès is based on the Eurocopter EC135. After a deep analysis of the helicopter, a set of 55 modifications were suggested by the design team. 50 were deemed feasible by the engineering team. [4]
