To create a continuous spectacularized flux inside the ship, an inner boulevard with multiple attractors, which has an artificial urban context. This engages in the principles of biophilia within urban design, as shown in Figure 15.

entertainment seamlessly fuses technology with highly trained live performers, stunning visuals and special effects. It pairs the most advanced technology with dancers, singers, aerialists and musicians. At the forefront of the venue is Vistarama, shown in Figure 14, which transforms its expansive floor-to-ceiling windows into any scene, real or imagined, by combining 18 projectors to create an ambient surface over 30m wide and over 6m tall providing the audience with 270 degree views. The stage also includes six Roboscreens, each measuring over seven feet high and controlled by robotic arms. The Roboscreens create scenes while moving individually, or combining as one. [18]
4.8 THE URBAN DIMENSION

Sports are a key leisure activity on cruise ships. The use of upper deck for outdoor sports, on the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Sea, builds upon the wow factor of the panoramic view, as shown in Figure 16. Indoor novelty sports such as roller skating, create a sense of fun. The use of lighting to create futuristic atmosphere in the roller skating rink, is shown in Figure 17.

The conventional design approach to superyacht is informed by spatial layouts, which effectively assumes a lounge to be a transient space and a stairwell as a transit between decks. Due to the constraints of exterior styling the interior deck height is usually restricted to 2.1m with the use of innovative lighting to give an enhanced perception of height. As the superyacht market gives way to megayachts, innovative catamaran platforms such as the Porsche Design RFF offer a unique opportunity for distinctive interior spatial layouts and volumes. These can be more representative of luxury hotels and historical
