JCM Global’s acquisition of FutureLogic has changed the product portfolio and brought about synergistic solutions


Last year’s deal to buy FutureLogic has quite literally helped JCM Global make better connections with an expanded range of smarter, faster bill validation technology, printer technology and systems solutions.


Payam Zadeh, General Manager for EMEA at JCM, said: “The FutureLogic deal has brought several complimentary products into the JCM portfolio taking us into the AWP market in the UK, the promotional ticketing market and into table gaming. Casino markets all over the world are using printers alongside bill acceptors so it really is a natural marriage.”


The synergy was clear to see in a recent order placed by Merkur Spielbanken for its new casino in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, where the extensive order comprised the iVIZION bill validator and the GEN3 and GEN2 Universal printers. A recent deal with Luxury Leisure to install the Ticket2Go ticketing system solution at Luxury Leisure gaming venues located throughout the UK, exemplified the strength of that part of the FutureLogic deal.

“This is the first major rollout of Ticket2Go in the UK arcade market following the introduction of new UK TITO protocol standards,” Mr. Zadeh explained. “We’re finding operators in the UK and Spain are replacing competitors’ systems with Ticket2Go.”


This retrofit ticketing solution for gaming and AWP devices is especially for machines that don’t support standard ticketing protocols, and it is the first and only system to work across all the post-2007 legacy machines in a location. Ideal for AWP and low payout gaming machine markets, Ticket2Go delivers a networked TITO solution with a single ticketing solution across the gaming floor. On the bill validation side, JCM was showing some proven products in iVIZION, iPRO and iPRO-RC. iVIZION has the most advanced validation security features and


anti-stringing technology available, all with an acceptance rate of 99 plus per cent. “iVIZION commands 80 per cent of new openings in the US,” Mr. Zadeh explained.


iPRO meanwhile has a high first-time acceptance rate, a fast note-to-note acceptance rate, and JCM's sensing and anti-stringing package. An optional recycling package on the iPRO-RC means less fills less often.


TableXchange brings the convenience of TITO to the table by both accepting and paying out with TITO tickets, allowing full two-way transactions compatible with existing casino TITO systems, increasing convenience for players and streamlining operations by virtually eliminating the need to replenish chips at table games.

R. Franco Group was celebrating its 50th anniversary at ICE 2015 with two important messages; it’s re-energised and back for an assault on international markets and its also ready to move into the competitive interactive gaming sector


Highly successful in Latin American markets, the manufacturer pulled back from most international markets at the start of the recession. However it has still installed products in the UK, Norway, Mexico and Argentina.


Marketing Executive Alicia de Benito said: “We’re in the process of introducing many changes across the company with the main change being our return to international markets. We’ve had a new Chief Executive since July when Pedro Melendo Derqu joined the company and since then we’ve been busy applying for licences although we will have to wait until May/June to make those announcements. We lost some due to legislation and some due to corporate decisions but now we are looking to regain our foothold and reinforce our international strength. Our message to some international operators at this show; is that R. Franco is still alive, we are still

innovative and we are still putting successful machines into international markets.”


ICE 2015 was marked by games such as Tombola Roulette, Sic Bo, Bingo Bombo and AWP’s such as Gnomos Mix which has recently broken all sales records within its range.


Tombola Roulette incorporates a roulette-style layout with bingo cards and numbered balls. Designed for the Colombian market, the game has already proven a huge hit in the UK with installs at the Hippodrome and Aspers. It delivers a really fast game of roulette-style betting. Instead of having 37 pockets and one ball, it has 37 balls and one pocket and produces exactly the same result as a roulette wheel in cycles of just 20 seconds.


Equally as big as the international news, was R. Franco’s move into online with the startups accelerator a partnership with Conector that will launch a vertical Games acceleration to accompany the online gaming startups and turn them into successful businesses.
