Caesars Entertainment has announced that Gary Loveman, Chairman and CEO, is stepping down from management role Nevada - Operations
Caesars Entertainment has announced that Gary Loveman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, has decided to begin transitioning management of the company at the end of the first quarter. Mr. Loveman will continue to serve as Chairman of Caesars Entertainment and of Caesars Entertainment Operating Company. As Chairman, Loveman will continue to oversee the restructuring of CEOC.
Mark Frissora joins Caesars Entertainment as CEO designee and will become CEO on July 1. He joins the Board of Directors immediately, and will report to the Board. During the transition period, he will work with Loveman and the Board to familiarize himself with Caesars’ operations and leadership team and go through the regulatory licensing process. Mr. Frissora brings to Caesars a track record of operating, growing and creating value at complex and highly leveraged companies, including Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. and Tenneco, Inc. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

While Chairman and CEO of Hertz, Frissora expanded the company from a single-brand, airport rental car company to a global organization with four retail brands and more than 3,000 off-airport locations in addition to its leading airport business. He also led Hertz’s expansion into fleet leasing through the acquisition of Donlen, Inc. Under Frissora’s leadership, Hertz acquired Dollar Thrifty, consolidating the rental car industry. The company’s shareholder value increased significantly in this period and its private equity owners realized a return of more than 230 per cent when they exited in May 2013.

US – AGEM RENEWS DIRECTOR CONTRACT The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) has announced that respected gam- ing industry veteran, Marcus Prater, has signed a new three-year contract extension that will keep him as the organisation’s Executive Director into 2018. Mr. Prater has been AGEM’s Executive Director since 2008 and
his current three-year term was set to expire last month.

US – CHAMBRELLO APPOINTED BY GTECH AMERICAS Interactive gaming software and services provider GTECH has appoint- ed Michael Chambrello as the new chief executive officer of its North America Lottery division.
Mr. Chambrello, who previously served as chief executive officer of Scientific Games, will begin his new
role on March 23 and report directly to GTECH chief executive officer Marco Sala. Chambrello will oversee the development and delivery of all lottery technology solutions globally as well as the strategic development and management of the lottery business in the US and Canada.
US – GTECH AMERICAS CEO TO PURSUE NEW PATH Jaymin Patel has announced that he is to step down from his role as presi- dent and chief executive officer of the GTECH Americas arm of interactive gaming software and services provider GTECH.
Mr. Patel, who will step down from his role on March 27, is one of the
longest-serving members of the GTECH senior management team, having first joined the company in 1994. During his time at the firm, he held a number of leadership positions such as GTECH president and chief operating officer, as well as senior vice-president and chief financial officer when the firm was a listed New York Stock Exchange company.
Prior to his role at GTECH Americas, Patel served as presi- dent and chief executive officer of GTECH’s global lottery operations. However, he has now opted to end his 17-year stay at the company in order to pursue a new opportunity.
