Review ICE TOTALLY GAMING 2015
During a press conference held in London on the occasion of ICE 2015, INTRALOT Group CEO, Mr. Antonios Kerastaris, presented the new strategy of the Group, which focuses on three pillars
The first is to further expand and strengthen the company's product offering. INTRALOT strategy focuses on the player and his needs and preferences. Building a strong relationship with the end customer is what makes the gaming business sustainable. The company invests in Customer Relations Manager (CRM), as the basis for the design of more competitive products. In this direction the company announced its strategic partnership with the company Bit8, a Malta-based gaming platform solutions provider.
The second pillar is the company's transition from technology provider (B2B) to the B2C operations. This constitutes a shift from the traditional B2B business to the end consumer and B2C operations, a field that the Group systematically develops in recent years. And the third major pillar is the focus on the operations. Execution of the projects undertaken by the company and on 5 continents becomes extremely important. In this direction the company implements organizational changes, along with a cultural shift, while it strengthens further the management of the Group's subsidiaries globally.
Intralot’s big news at ICE as far as new products are concerned was threefold, the imminent launch of its mobile suite -, the launch of a casino management system and its focus on CRM, with an agreement with Bit8. The mobile launch remains under wraps for now but will be huge news when it is launched and a huge feather in the cap of Intralot’s MobileLottery, an innovative, independent end-to-end solution that makes the lottery experience native on IOS & Android. The newly launched MobileLotteryTV edition was also on show along with Intelligent Gaming Messaging (IGM), which is a personalised push notification platform to connect, engage, and retain customers.
Dimitris Stergiopoulos, Innovation Manager for the Mobile Business, said: “We’re offering players the chance to play on the go, on the sofa and in the betting shop. We’ve developed lobby for lottery games with a classic flipboard interface making it so easy to use. We’ve come up with some novel ways to do quick picks for numbers including using the temperature in various cities across the world. Placing a bet is a ten second process. We are also offering this product via the TV. Semi-anonymous playing is also available.”
Intralot has enriched its Gaming Solutions portfolio, by adding new innovative features and

enhancements to its popular iGEM platform, one of the first Gaming Management Systems to receive GSA certification and offer support for all major industry protocols.
Intralot’s Elias Kostopoulos, Head of Product Marketing at Gaming Solutions, said; “We’ve received such a positive feedback about iGEM from our customers and the industry, that we’ve decided to expand it by adding new applications that help operators secure business continuity and regulatory compliance, improve efficiency, generate excitement and increase profitability. The iGEM Jackpot Suite for instance, is a complete Jackpot solution suitable for casinos, VLT venues, racetracks and any other single/multi-site gaming environment, compatible with virtually all slot machine manufacturers. It can offer Wide Area Progressives and mystery jackpots or any combination, as well as advanced customisation features, options and themes. The Responsible Play module of iGEM is one of the most advanced and flexible pre-commitment systems available today, allowing operators worldwide to adapt to the evolving regulatory requirements, providing players with control over their gaming frequency and spending, while promoting Responsible Gaming.”
At this point it is important to mention the GLS system, a field-tested solution that offers end-to- end processing and workflow management for all Gaming Licensing and Compliance processes to all gaming stakeholders, including operators and regulators. It is a unique and powerful tool designed to minimise licensing workload by automating business processes related to compliance, auditing, document management and asset tracking.
All these systems and modules integrate seamlessly, creating a complete solution able to
meet the strictest regulatory requirements as well as the needs of complex gaming operations, in a market that is constantly evolving.
The iGaming Console (IGC), a multichannel Content Management System, along with iGaming Platform (IGP) complete the gaming offering. IGC has built-in responsive designs and content intelligence to identify, understand and better serve customers. It overhauls the online user interface process, by enabling operators to deploy changes faster, more frequently and made only once without needing to be replicated across operating systems. IGP delivers a customer centric approach related to acquisition, retention, bonusing and loyalty schemes regardless of the distribution channel and offers real time segmentation and targeted campaigns for registered players.
The deal with Bit8 will see a joint development and marketing approach in the international online platform market and the acquisition of a significant minority stake.
Intralot Group CEO, Antonis Kerastaris, stated: “Regulation and technology convergence are driving our industry towards new models, where strong player focus, will be a key element of success. We are excited to be joining forces with Bit8, a global innovator in online customer relationship management. As we seamlessly integrate their platform with our own and that of our customers we will be uniquely positioned to manage player data and provide an exceptional gaming experience to customers, in-line with our strategy to focus on the B2C segment of the global gaming market.”
Bit8 CEO, Angelo Dalli, stated: “Bit8 is pleased to be entering into a global alliance with the INTRALOT Group, enabling us to provide our solutions in more than 50 countries worldwide.
