AUTOMATED SATURN WHEEL DAZZLES AT THE ICE IN LONDON

New proprietary table games and the latest slimline e-FX display had to play second-fiddle on the TCSJohnHuxley stand as the quite brilliant Saturn Auto Wheel, with patented firing mechanism, showed true gaming innovation at work

TCSJohnHuxley’s Saturn Auto Wheel was one of the standout products of the ICE show in London. An automated wheel that occupies the same footprint as traditional wheel, with a patented ball-firing mechanism for extra spin and randomness, the Saturn Auto Wheel is an invention that clearly demonstrates the innovation in table gaming for which TCSJohnHuxley is renowned.

The Saturn Auto Wheel can be mounted on a range of custom podiums, enclosed in hardware or used as a standalone wheel, and can be operated in three different modes, fully automated for electronic table games, auto-mode to run continuously and semi-auto, which requires the dealer to press a button to fire the ball.

Saturn Auto’s unique compact design allows casinos to display and operate it according to their distinct needs. It can be placed on existing roulette tables, integrated into furniture or supplied on a bespoke wheel podium; at just 220mm deep, there’s no bulky equipment beneath it occupying space.

Tristan Sjöberg, Executive Chairman commented: “Saturn Auto’s unique size and technology delivers options never before available in an automatic wheel. A simple mode switch, enables operators and dealers to swap between full- automatic, automatic and semi-automatic modes, which makes it easy to integrate into any live or electronic game in the casino.”

Combined with TCSJohnHuxley’s latest Gaming Floor Live (GFL) platform, the Saturn Auto wheel outputs game data via the Table Interface Board (TIB). This allows casinos to monitor and act on gameplay statistics from anywhere in the world in order to improve game efficiency and revenue. New enhancements to Gaming Floor Live are also

on the way as part of a constantly evolving interface, with sic bo and roulette functionality rolling out in the coming weeks.

The interconnectivity of TCSJohnHuxley’s GFL system was further highlighted in the latest e-FX 23ins. media displays, part of the GFL Media platform exhibited at ICE in both landscape and portrait orientations. These LCD displays now communicate through the GFL system to collect results from the game as well as display media and event content. Working with Rank Group in the UK upon a multi-table display that can show different games on the same screen, TCSJohnHuxley has developed a screen layout showing four games played simultaneously and displayed in real-time on the single screen.

Utilising a browser-based content management application, display media can now be altered, scheduled, customised and configured from any device, anywhere in the world. This saves time, allowing for quick and efficient changes to be

made and eliminating the need for physical configuration of each individual display.

In addition to GFL Media integration, the e-FX 23ins. displays feature a slimmer profile than the rest of the e-FX family, while retaining the same look and feel. They also offer both a single and double-sided configuration and include fully integrated cable management, LED trend lights as well as fixing points for an optional 10” promotional screen or camera topper.
