theibcdaily Mistika adds HFR tools
SGO By Carolyn Giardina
A new version of SGO’s Mistika DI and stereo 3D production system is debuting at IBC. Version 7.0 includes a new
colour grading tool for 2D and stereo 3D productions using standard or high framerates. This includes new ways to route and combine colour selections across layers. Workflow enhancements include selection ‘Gangs’ to group together similar
shots with an eye toward rapid deployment of colour decisions. The HFR toolset has the ability to export half framerate material to standard editing systems, along with functions to conform the resulting edit lists from the original high framerate footage.
Arris By Ian McMurray
Earlier this year, Kabel Deutschland (KD), Germany’s largest cable service provider, successfully field tested the combination of a EuroDOCSIS 3.0-based Arris C4 CMTS and 12 Arris Touchstone Cable Modem CM820S – each accessing eight bonded Annex A (8MHz) channels – to deliver 4.7Gbps of aggregated data throughput in the downstream. The tests were conducted using a real cable plant at a school in the city of Schwerin, Germany.

Why should delegates visit your stand at IBC? We will be launching a world premiere in wireless and defining a new standard of audio quality for wireless microphones. This alone would be worth coming but you can also experience a new camera microphone for ENG and video journalists as well as a new member of our renowned MKH 8000 family of analogue/digital RF condenser microphones. 8.D50
