AVP Europa is showing its hybrid electrical and fibre optic connector break-out modules for the modular bulkhead system, designed to be used in television broadcasting or video equipment such as camera head-to-camera control unit connections. Conforming to the SMPTE 304M-2003 standard, these break-out connector modules terminate two single-mode fibre- optic contacts, two low-voltage contacts and two auxiliary 600VAC electrical contacts. Simon Farnsworth has been appointed as chief executive officer of GlobeCast Australia, following the retirement of Mike Lattin, who will continue with the company in an advisory role. Farnsworth has worked for 10 years with the GlobeCast Group, most recently as global head of the GlobeCast Group’s Broadcast Contribution services. “This is an excellent
