Andreas Tweitmann, CEO, RTW Has IBC come at a good time
for the electronic media industry? Why?
The age of digital television has changed the way we all work in the electronic media industry. It has forced those of us in audio and video to work together on developing solutions that complement one another, solving issues now and setting us up for the future. It is an especially critical time, as broadcasters continue to seek for solutions to help them comply with all globally relevant standards, including EBU R128, ITU BS.1770-2/1771, ATSC A/85 and ARIB. It is imperative that they find the solutions they need to meet these regulations before the imposed deadlines and IBC is the perfect stage to do so.
What do you think are the key developments in, or threats to, your market sector at the current time? As loudness control standards continue to be of specific interest to the global community, so are the range of solutions available to broadcasters. However, budgets are tight so it is important for companies like ours to make sure we are educating the community about making the proper investments in the right equipment.

Why should delegates visit your stand at IBC? RTW will have available its full line of TouchMonitor products, including its latest introduction, the TM3, a compact version of the TM7 and TM9 audio meters. We will also be debuting 3G-SDI accessories for the TM3 and the 31900 Surround Control series, which will further support any broadcast equipment working with 7.1 Digital Dolby Plus (DD+) Surround Sound. In addition, we encourage attendees to stop by, as we will be raffling off a TM3 each day at 5pm. 8.E76
reference input signal (for example, loss of GPS signal). When the genlock signal is reapplied, the SPG8000 will gradually reacquire lock and eliminate any synchronisation shock in the system. SNMP and Web UI support of the SPG8000 enable integration into modern automation, central monitoring and control systems. 10.D41
