Arris is debuting its EventAssure multi-service outage


management solution, a new module within Arris Assurance Solutions that provides cable operators automated identification of plant and service outages through correlation of events. The solution’s proactive identification and isolation of outages through periodic and realtime collection of information is claimed to help reduce truck rolls and increase operational efficiency. According to Arris, EventAssure


offers complete, realtime visibility into an operator’s service delivery infrastructure. This includes an executive dashboard and detailed outage tracking with historical alarm information for up-to-the minute health status on all aspects of the network to empower the Network Operations Centre (NOC) and enable accurate and efficient use of field service personnel. 1.D41
