Cypress, CA — Hanwha Techwin has introduced a high-speed printer and pick-and-place solution for efficient processing of 4 ft (1.2m) LED boards. The company launched the dual-rail printer and dual-rail pick-and-place solution at its center of excellence (COE) in Cypress, California. The printer and pick-and-place combina- tion processes 4 ft (1.2m) LED boards in under 30 seconds per panel. Apex Factory Automation: Low-Cost Printing Platform


Lanham, MD — Apex Factory Au- tomation, the North American dis- tributor for SJ Innotech, has intro- duced the new SJIT HP-520E print- er. This platform retains most of the features of its predecessor, the popu- lar HP 5205, but at a new, lower price point. This printing platform is suit-


able for any production volume. Its economical price is affordable for smaller shops, yet high-speed opera- tion is available for higher-volume production, due to its three-zone con- veyor system. Optional high-speed motors reduce cycle time down to five seconds (plus print stroke). Standard features include: 2D


solder paste inspection; three convey- or zones with auto-width and pro- grammable y-axis stopper position- ing; four-element wet/dry stencil cleaner with orbital cleaning system; five-zone programmable print speeds and pressures for customized print stroke; closed-loop, load-cell print head for continuous print-pressure monitoring; side snugger PCB clamp- ing; and a rugged 2,646 lb (1,200 kg) platform built for many years of trou- ble-free printing.
