Bedford, NH — Powerbox has launched a series of power supplies for medical applications requiring body floating (BF) class insulation and full, reliable operation up to 16,404 ft (5,000m) altitude to power medical facilities and equipment. Complying with the latest EMI coex- istence standard IEC 60601-1-2: 2014 (4th Edition) and specifically designed with patient and operator safety in mind, the OBR04 series delivers an output power of 650W. The OBR04 is available in 12 differ- ent voltages from 12 to 58V with an efficiency rating up to 91 percent. With a focus on radio coexistence


and no interference, the product meets conducted and radiated EN55011 Class B requirements, with- out requiring any additional compo- nents. Built to ensure patient and operator safety, the OBR04 has an input-to-output isolation of 4,000 VAC (2X MOPP), an input to ground of 1,500 VAC (1X MOPP) and a 1,500 VAC output-to-ground. The company’s MCT SD0802-31 fine-line/fine- dot conductive adhesive and MCT 1107-2 non-conductive adhesive provides less than 3 mil (75 µm) epoxy ring sitting uncured for 2 hours and less than 5 mil (125 µm) when cured for one hour at 302°F (150°C). SD0802-31 is a frozen material with a


room temperature storage of five to six days and 12 months at –40°F (–40°C). MCT 1107-2 is a non-frozen material with room temperature storage of six months and 12 months at –4°F (–20°C).
