Chino, CA — Scienscope has intro- duced its 2018 X-ray system lineup, which includes the AXI5100 in-line component counter, AXC-800 X-ray component reel counter, X-Scope 2000 X-ray inspection system, entry- level X-Scope 1800, and X-SPEC- TION 6000 X-ray inspection system. The AXI5100c is a fully auto-
mated flexible, in-line, fast and accu- rate component counting machine designed to increase productivity. With automated barcode reading and reel size and height detection, the optional loaders and unloaders enable users to drop off a batch of reels and work on other tasks. With this machine users can start out with a standalone batch, and grow into more automation in the future. The tabletop AXC-800 is an
automatic X-ray inspection compo- nent counter designed for the inspec- tion of components on traditional reels, from 01005 (0402 metric) to odd-form devices. However, this machine goes beyond standard inspection of components in 7, 13 and 15 in. (17.8, 33 and 38.1 cm) reels, with the ability to inspect compo- nents in JEDEC trays (including BGA ball counting), ESD storage bags, and storage tubes by using sim- plified algorithms built into the sys-

tem for all types of components. The X-Scope 2000 X-ray inspec-
tion system is a full-featured, high- performance X-ray inspection system. The system has a fully integrated, 90 kV, high-power, closed X-ray tube and 4 x 3 in. (10.2 x 7.6 cm) high-resolution CMOS digital flat panel image detec- tor. Its 60° camera tilt enables valu- able automated oblique angle viewing. The system also has a suite of auto- mated software tools. The X-SPECTION 6000 X-ray
inspection system is Scienscope’s most technologically advanced cabi- net style X-ray inspection system. As with all X-SCOPE platforms, it includes every advanced software
tool required for a wide variety of applications. With more tilt and a rotating work table, the X-SPEC- TION 6000 offers much flexibility. Standard features of the X-SPEC- TION 6000 X-ray inspection system
include: fully integrated, 130 kV, micro-focus, high-power, closed X-ray tube; 5 x 5 in.
