Managing Director Wertheim, Germany — Ersa GmbH has appointed Ralph Knecht its new man- aging director. Mr. Knecht previously worked for Schlafhorst, a manufactur- er of spinning frame and textile machinery. Since Ersa was taken over by Kurtz 25 years ago, the company’s soldering tool and machine business has grown rapidly. Rainer Kurtz has been the sole managing director of Ersa GmbH since 1993, leaving the position in January of this year.
