standardized palletizing cell with a collaborative robot. The new palletiz- ing unit is easy to install and config- ure, has a compact design and reduces the footprint by over 50 per- cent when compared with cells with industrial robots. The collaborative robot is a sin-

gle-pick unit, working up to eight boxes per minute, with a maximum load of up to 17.6 lb (8 kg) each. It is user-safe, making a fence system or a cage unnecessary and lets the opera- tor work side-by-side with the robot. The cell permits continuous opera- tions. The operator can easily remove one complete pallet without stopping the collaborative robot. The palletizing solution is deliv- ered with one electrical cabinet to

Small, But Mighty

PE-50 plasma cleaning system. The PE-50 is an affordable,

entry-level option for most types of plasma treatment. It is very popular at universities and research labs. Plasma Etch credits the success of the system to its versatility and robust design. The PE-50 plasma cleaner has simple controls and easy- to-read indicators for monitoring the plasma processing sequence. The company’s plasma wand

was developed to meet the need for a convenient, handheld plasma prod- uct for spot cleaning and research work. It is about the size of an elec- tric toothbrush and requires only electricity to operate — no input gas is required. The plasma wand pro- vides atmospheric plasma capable of increasing the bond strength and

printability of most surfaces. Contact: Plasma Etch, Inc.,
