Community-based learning is just the job for getting your life back on track - whether you have had problems at school or have been away from education for many years, we have courses to suit all ages and tastes – it is never too late to learn!
More Choices More Chances is an innovative project with courses that have been specifically designed to meet the needs of young people. The courses include:
BEAUTY THERAPY
Depilation | Nail Treatments | Facial Treatments | Customer Service.
INTRODUCTION TO CONSTRUCTION
Painting and Decorating | Plumbing | Brickwork | Joinery.
INTRODUCTION TO OFFICE SKILLS
Admin Skills | Call Centre Training.
Students who successfully complete the More Choices More Chances course are guaranteed an interview for entry to a relevant NQ course.
A weekly subsistence will be paid to cover expenses and a residential trip is included in the project. A regular attendance must be maintained to ensure receipt of expenses.
Projects can last up to 20 weeks and are attended approximately 2½ days per week.
Work placement opportunities where applicable.
