DESCRIPTION
This full-time fast track course starts in January and is completed by June, and may be studied part-time by negotiation. It is designed as a “taster” to the administration courses.

A group of SQA NQ Units. A pass in each unit ensures an unconditional place on the NQ Administration course and may allow entry to HNC/D programmes. Employment prospects may be in administration, reception or business.

DESCRIPTION
This two year, full-time course, which may be studied part time by negotiation, reflects the vital role and function that administration and new technology play in the world of commerce. The course develops a pro-active role within the management structure of an enterprise along with the information skills required for the up-to-date office. After one year of full-time study candidates may obtain an HNC in Administration and Information Technology.

2 Standard Grades at General Level or above. Applications from mature learners without formal qualifications welcomed. Entry by interview.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION
A group of SQA NQ Units. Successful learners may gain entry to the HND Administration and Information Technology course. Employment prospects are to be found in office administration, secretarial work or reception.

At least 1 Higher Grade pass or a GSVQ at Level III or an appropriate group of NQ Units and an acceptable standard of communication. Applications from mature learners without formal qualifications welcomed. Entry by interview.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION
A group of SQA HN Units with possible progression to 2nd or 3rd year degree stage. In order to achieve the HNC/D Qualification the candidate is required to pass graded unit assessments. Employment prospects could be found in any business where administration and new technology play a part.
