DESCRIPTION

This NQ course will allow entry into a higher education programme incorporating a Secondary Teaching Qualification. The course consists of 21 NQ units, which allows the learner to achieve the equivalent of 2/3 SQA Higher Grades.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

No formal qualifications required. Selection by interview.

Group of NQ Units, which guarantees an interview for university and in many cases, a place in various disciplines.

Full-time NQ course designed to allow entry into higher education. The course consists of 21 NQ Units, which allow the learner to achieve the equivalent of an SQA Higher Grade in Computing, English and Mathematics.

Computer Hardware and Software | Word Processing | Database | Statistics/Information Retrieval Skills | Spreadsheets | Communication | Mathematics.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

No formal qualifications required. Selection by interview. Candidates should be age 21 or over.

QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION

Groups of NQ Units. On successful completion learners are guaranteed interviews with Glasgow, Strathclyde, Caledonian, Stirling and University of West of Scotland. Various disciplines can be applied for including Computing, Mathematics, Business Studies, Management Accountancy, Science, Psychology, Sociology etc. By selecting the education option you can obtain a teaching qualification in your chosen subject.
