DESCRIPTION
This two year, full-time course will equip learners with skills required to fill supervisory and / or management positions in fashion related businesses.

Fashion Design & Development | Garment Production Skills | Pattern Construction | Marketing | Fashion Merchandising | Textile Technology | Business | Retail Management | Work Placement.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Appropriate group of SQA National Units including Communication 4 or 1-2 Higher Grades and O or Standard Grades or equivalent. Entry by interview. Learners will be required to contribute towards the cost of materials.

DESCRIPTION
This one year full-time programme is for those who wish to learn skills in fashion design, pattern, garment construction and retail merchandising with a view to a career in the fashion industry.

Fashion Design & Illustration | Garment Sewing & Pattern Construction | Textiles | Marketing | Fashion Merchandising | Millinery | Communication | I.T. | Numeracy.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
No formal entry requirements. Entry by interview. Evidence of ability in Art, English and Arithmetic and an interest in designing and making garments would be an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION
SQA National Qualification which may lead to an HND in Fashion: Design and Production with Retail or employment in the Fashion Industry.

Possibly leading to BA (Hons) Consumer & Management Studies | Fashion and Business (Glasgow Caledonian University), BSc Textiles and Fashion Design Management (Heriot Watt University) or employment in retail, fashion design, accessory production.
