Graduation Ceremony
The College graduation ceremony is held each November. Family and friends join all our HNC and HND learners as they receive their awards from the Principal. The ceremony is a very successful, colourful and memorable event.
The Board of Management, Principal and staff welcome the opportunity to publicly celebrate the hard work and achievements of our remarkable learners.
College Prize Giving
Each June, North Glasgow College celebrates and acknowledges the achievements of the “Best Learner” from each course in an award ceremony.
This end of term event is held in the prestigious City Chambers in Glasgow in an atmosphere of pride and celebration shared with staff, learners and their families.
Inclusiveness Policy
North Glasgow College now operate a single Equality Scheme. We are very proud of our long standing mission statement...
‘Quality Learning Opportunities for All’
...and the fact that it demonstrates everything we stand for in terms of our equalities and inclusiveness policies.
The College will not tolerate harassment or discrimination. Harassment consists of behaviour that is insulting and hurtful. It is always unwanted and can consist of jokes, graffiti, insulting /degrading remarks such as name calling. Discrimination occurs when someone is treated less favourably, for example for a reason related to the person’s disability, race or gender.
Recent legislation in Scotland has ensured that all colleges now have a statutory duty to prepare and publish three Equality Schemes relating to Gender, Disability and Race.
Everyone in our college has a responsibility to ensure our Equality Schemes and associated policies are being implemented and if you have any concerns or would like further information regarding these please contact our Director of Policy and Operations by asking at the Reception Desk. Copies of our Schemes and other policies are available on request.
