This one year full-time course is designed for learners who wish to pursue a career in the business world.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 3 standard grades or 2 units at Intermediate 2. Applications from mature students with or without qualifications welcomed.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION
A group of SQA NQ units. Successful learners may gain entry to the HNC/D Business programme. Employment prospects may be found in a variety of occupations in the business sector.

DESCRIPTION
This course is offered as a one year full-time or a two-year evening programme. It provides the competencies required by employers in the administration and commercial fields. A broad range of career opportunities exist in junior management positions within private and public sector organisations.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
At least one Higher Grade pass or an appropriate group of NQ units including Communications at Intermediate 2. Applications from mature students with several years of work experience welcomed. Interested? Please complete an application form; you will be invited for interview and given further course information. Entry by interview.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION
Possible progression to HND Business, or second year degree stage.
This course is broad based
and enables successful learners to pursue many different career paths including retail, marketing, administration, finance, human resources, management and business start-up.
