DESCRIPTION
New national one or two year, full-time course to prepare learners for a career in the music industry in areas such as: Management, Agents, Promotion, Music Retail, Distribution, Record Companies, Publishing Companies and Music Promotion.
CONTENT
Tuition is offered in the following: The Structure of the Music Industry | Music Industry Management | Promotion | The Internet | Music Law | Copyright and Publishing. Integral to the course is managing events and producing material for our record company NGM records.

Entry by interview.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION
We currently have many of our learners progressing on to the degree courses at University of the West of Scotland UWS.

National Qualification
Sound Recording & Media Production
SCQF Level 4 – 6
DESCRIPTION
This one year, practical full-time course enables the learner to acquire skills in a range of media production techniques with particular reference to music recording, internet and radio production.
CONTENT
Sound Recording | Radio Programme Production | Scriptwriting | Internet Research | Media Studies | Acoustics | Communication | Video Production | Digital Photography | Graphics.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
No formal entry requirements, although an interest in a career in radio should be demonstrated. Good oral communication skills would be an advantage. Entry by interview.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION
Programme of SQA national qualifications leading to related HND Music Performance and Promotion or employment in local, commercial or national radio.

DESCRIPTION
A new national one or two year course to prepare learners for a career in sound production in areas such as: Recording Studios, Theatres, Live Sound, Radio, Audio, Post Production, Retail and Distribution.
CONTENT
Tuition will be offered in: Sound Production | Digital Audio | Live Sound | Sequencing | Audio for Multimedia | Creative Industries Infrastructure.

Entry by interview.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION
We currently have many of our learners progressing on to the degree courses at Abertay, Glasgow Caledonian and University of West of Scotland. Many of our ex-learners are now currently working in areas such as TV, radio and with various record and promotion companies.
