RAID 6 - Protection
This is still a RAID 5 Stripe set.
We can write securely while the hot spare rebuilds. Then we can recreate the RAID 6 set

RAID 6 (block striping with double distributed parity): When a single disk fails we still have a RAID 5 set. We can continue writing our data in the knowledge it is protected. Data that is written during rebuild time will need to be converted from RAID 5 to RAID 6 after the initial rebuild is complete
