• SES provides data via well-defined, standard Pages:
– Configuration Page lists elements within an enclosure
– Enclosure Status Page shows status of elements, either as a group, or individually
– Enclosure Control Page controls devices in the enclosure
– Array Control Page defines information about status of devices participating in arrays

Power supplies and cooling modules
The Enclosure Control Page is used by the application client to control the elements listed on the Configuration Page. The client can set bits to denote the following states for element types:
• Information • Non-Critical • Critical • Unrecoverable
The Array Control Page can define information about the status of devices that participate in an array:
• Hot Spare • Participating in a critical array • Member of a failed array • Participating in a rebuild operation
