An LSAN is a special type of zone that can span separate fabrics. Important points to remember about LSANs:
• LSANs are real zones, and the usual zoning rules apply. • In order for devices in different fabrics to communicate via an LSAN, the LSAN must be configured in both fabrics.
• Only the devices included in the LSAN will be able to communicate.
