“AI-driven algorithms offer a transformative advantage in tailoring gameplay and betting options to individual user preferences - especially in virtual sports like Zoom Soccer and Simulate.”

PAULO GONCALVES Chief Product Officer Logifuture

Simulate is basically a draw-and-demand game. A player adds a football or basketball multiple to their betslip and, instead of having to wait for the games to start, they can just toggle ‘Simulate’. Tat triggers a 45-second animation with the goals or points coming in and you get your accumulator result without having to wait hours.Te player can also select Turbo mode where the result of the simulation will be shown almost immediately.

What advancements are being made to enhance the realism of virtual betting simulations such as Zoom Soccer and Simulate?

Particularly for our products, AI is helping improve the immersive nature of the games. Zoom mimics real-world trends, so if there's someone that's injured, that will be reflected on Zoom as well. We're trying to move this to be more dynamic, so it feels even more realistic. We're not yet at real time, but we’re moving on that direction, and AI can help with that. Ten there’s more practical uses, such as localisation - AI can help us localised the match updates and commentary in real time, without the need for huge teams of translators.

How are the sophistication of features such as live commentary, statistical details, and customisation options changing?

AI is starting to become part of our lives and betting - or more specifically in virtual gaming - is no different. Something that would require a lot of effort and time for instance to localise a live commentary of a virtual match with audio, now it can be done leveraging AI in a couple of hours. Te same with updating stats in real time.

I think virtuals in the future, powered by AI, will become more engaging than reality itself. Betting opportunities will be increasingly tailored for the player, based on their behaviour. We will see markets tailored for a particular player. Tings that

were impossible from a resource point of view will become the norm, leveraging AI.

In what ways does AI contribute to creating dynamic sequences and unpredictable outcomes?

AlphaGo was the first AI to defeat a human Go player, and it did this by behaving in a way that was not expected for a computer software. Tis was in 2016 and look how far we’ve come. As an industry we need to look at AI as an opportunity. Imagine having the best trader in the world, the best content creator, the best artist, the best voice actor that speaks all languages - and they all have the historical knowledge of all past events.

You don’t have to imagine because we have that now with AI. AI will be able to create sequences of matches that will look as plausible as any real-match sequence. And like AlphaGo in 2016 AI will behave in an unpredictable way making virtual games as exciting or even more exciting than reality.

What are the benefits of AI-driven algorithms in tailoring gameplay and betting options to individual user preferences?

AI-driven algorithms offer a transformative advantage in tailoring gameplay and betting options to individual user preferences - especially in virtual sports like Zoom Soccer and Simulate. AI analyses user behaviour, such as bet frequency, market type and stake level to surface the most relevant betting options. A player who prefers fast-paced gameplay may see shorter animations, while others may experience full- length match sequences. Backgrounds, commentary style and even soundtracks can be adjusted to reflect user preferences or geolocation.

With this we should increase the time a user spends in a game as it will feel new for longer. With AI we can even consider
