NIEUWEGEIN Stichting Ikusasa is in binnen- vaartkringen een bekend fenomeen, de stichting helpt Afrikaanse kinderen via een adoptieproject. Ook dit jaar is Ikusasa weer te vinden op Maritime Industry, op stand E135, gesponsord door Oliehandel Anton van Megen BV in Zaandam en Oliehandel Heijmen in Millingen/Nijmegen.
Stichting Ikusasa heeſt als centrale doelstel- ling: ‘Kinderen in Zuid-Afrika die een kans ver- dienen, ondersteuning te bieden bij hun oplei- ding, zodat zij een betere toekomst hebben’.
Stichting Ikusasa is een charitatieve instel- ling en fondsenwervend. Om doelstellingen te kunnen realiseren is de stichting afhanke- lijk van giſten en donaties. Wie meer wil we- ten over Ikusasa, de manier waarop wordt gewerkt, de kinderen die hulp behoeven, de acties en wat al niet meer is van harte wel- kom op de stand. Nieuwe donateurs zijn erg welkom.

Binnenvaartorganisaties trekken gezamenlijk op
Tijdens de beurs bundelen Binnenvaart Netwerk Diensten (BND), Bureau Telematica Binnenvaart (BTB), Expertise- en Innovatie- Centrum Binnenvaart (EICB), Centraal Bureau Voor de Rijn- en Binnenvaart (CBRB) en Bureau Voorlichting Binnenvaart (BVB) we- derom de krachten. Ze zullen daar gezamen- lijk een binnenvaartstand bemannen waar u voor al uw binnenvaartvragen op het gebied van digitalisering, voorlichting, logistiek, in- novatie, verduurzaming en sociaaleconomi-
sche vraagstukken terecht kunt. Voor vragen over de diverse projecten van het EICB kunt u terecht bij een aparte desk in de stand.
U vindt de gezamenlijke binnenvaartorga- nisaties in stand met nummer G124. Dit is echter niet meer op dezelfde locatie als an- dere jaren. Dit jaar staat de binnenvaartstand midden op de beursvloer, in een eilandstand met Koninklijke BLN-Schuttevaer en de LOVT, en vormen zo een binnenvaartcluster.
