P2 Science recruits senior executive trio


US personal care ingredient maker P2 Science has appointed a trio of senior executives to its commercial team to drive expansion. They are Kate Drummond,


vice-president of marketing and business development; Jeff Parker, vice-president of sales; and Aaron Peterson, director of West Coast sales.


With nine years at BASF in a


variety of roles and industries, most recently heading marketing for the North America Personal Care business, Drummond (pictured, centre) is charged with leading the strategy for expansion of P2’s proprietary technology platforms across industries. Drummond brings additional


experience in non-profit environmental advocacy and government relations, prior to earning her MBA at the University of Michigan. Meanwhile, Parker (pictured,


right) is responsible for leading sales


initiatives and cultivating strategic partnerships to accelerate revenue growth across key markets. His most recent experience was at IMCD in principal management, and he previously led the North American sales team at BASF Personal Care. Finally, Peterson (pictured, left)


joins P2 focusing on developing the personal care market for P2’s chemistries on the west coast of the US. Peterson, who has over 20 years


of experience between the lab and sales spanning personal care, colour cosmetics, and nutraceuticals, most recently served as manager for Intermountain and Midwest regional sales at Barnet Corporation. “We are thrilled to welcome such


a talented group of individuals to lead our commercial efforts,” said CEO Oihana Elizalde. “Their collective expertise and


passion for P2’s mission positions us to immediately capitalize on our positive momentum,” she added.


Naolys hires commercial director


French cosmetic actives maker Naolys has appointed Sebastien Grippon as its new commercial director. Grippon (pictured, right) was


previously commercial director of Plant Advanced Technologies PAT and before that he was Sederma’s sales manager for western Europe. The moves comes after Naolys


split its commercial and marketing departments to enhance its operations. Anne-Laure Larrivière (pictured,


left), who was previously head of sales and marketing, has been appointed director of marketing and communication.


CHT nominates Eva Baumann chief executive


German speciality chemicals maker CHT has appointed Eva Baumann as its new chief executive with immediate effect. Klaus Müller (pictured, right), who had been CHT managing director since November 2023, will now serve as chief financial officer. Baumann (pictured, left) joined


CHT in January 2020 and previously headed its General Industries business unit. “With Eva Baumann, we have


appointed a CEO for the CHT Group


who has known the company for several years,” said CHT chairman Johan de Ruiter. “Her many years of experience in managing an international business


field and her diverse activities in the chemical industry make her the ideal candidate,” he added. “In these challenging times, we


are confident that Eva Baumann as CEO will ensure and further expand the long-term success of the CHT Group.”

Personal care ingredient provider ProTec Ingredia has promoted Christine Clark to sales director of its UK operations. Clark has been part of the ProTec


Ingredia team since 2015, firstly as a regional sales manager before advancing to UK sales manager. “Christine’s promotion to
