34 IN-COSMETICS GLOBAL PREVIEW
Patech Fine Chemicals (1B30) is a Taiwan-based cosmetics and personal care ester manufacturer. It offers a series of high-quality polyglycerol esters (PGE) used as emulsifiers, which have a wide range of HLB values, are 100% natural plant-based origin, and COSMOS-compliance. It can form lamellar liquid crystalline emulsions and provide sensory and functional benefits. Paired with high and low HLB PGE, with
patented technology, it can boost SPF property and improve water resistance. In addition, low HLB PGE can be used as high-performance pigment dispersants, and high HLB PGE as PEG-free solubilizers. Paester BDP-2S (Bis-Diglyceryl
Polyacyladipate-2), a soft paste, can be used as a vegan lanolin substitute for cruelty-free and vegan-friendly products. It provides exceptional TEWL and long-lasting skin hydration as well as imparting softening and smoothness of skin feel. Paester BDP-2S complements a variety of applications such as lotions and creams, lip care, and other cosmetic products.

Plamed Green Science Group (1C75) will showcase its PMSoothe series products that inhibit the expression of TRPV1 and the transmission of action potentials, meaning they can inhibit both the reception and conduction of stimuli, so as to quickly soothe skin. PMRelief series works in two ways: inhibiting the overreaction of nerves; anti-inflammation. PMOil-control 9574 not only has an outstanding oil control effect and is gentle and non-irritating, but also has a strong ability to soothe irritation that may be caused by other ingredients. The effects are not inferior to that of the mainstream synthetic ingredients on the market. It produces ingredients by Plamed original
supramolecular targeted capture technology with four standards: pure natural, strong efficacy, ultra-safe and high stability.
Popławska (1C41) will highlight Vit. U Complex, an ingredient designed to offer a comprehensive solution to the problems of vascular skin and skin prone to rosacea. Application and apparatus tests of the independent research institute prove that the combination of Vitamin U obtained from cabbage with the ambora extract: seals vessels, soothes erythema, soothes irritation, reduces

sebum and impurities, eliminates TEWL, and moisturizes and soothes the skin.
Precheza (2A80) will introduce its PRETIOX range of titanium dioxide suncare ingredients. In particular, it will highlight PRETIOX UVS30 and NRK30, which are said to provide superior sun protection, i.e. shielding the skin from harmful UV radiation, while ensuring optimal performance combined with low photoactivity.
Primegreen (2G40) is a social enterprise, specialized in sourcing organic specialty ingredients from Latin America for application in cosmetics. Its main ingredients are moringa oil and powder, buriti oil, sacha inchi oil and jojoba oil. All products are directly sourced from growers it knows and with whom it engages in social and sustainability enhancing projects.
With an extensive network of growers in
the Amazon rainforest and coastal zones of Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, it can source any kind of natural ingredient with a sustainable profile (no deforestation, organic, low water consumption). It has a European background (The Netherlands, France) in personal care, pharma and international business, so it understands European quality and business requirements. Primegreen says it can save the hassle of
hunting after certificates of analysis, waiting for suppliers to become export ready and can guarantee delivery to anywhere in Europe from our stock in its European warehouse.
Italian outfit Ramoil (1V111) produces two different types of products developed for the cosmetic industry and used as bases for personal care products.
These include CURA-WO, paraffin white
oils, defined in European pharmacopeia as Liquid Paraffin. Also on show will be CURA- PJ petroleum jellies, defined in European pharmacopeia as Paraffin White Soft.
Roelmi HPC (2G70) will reveal its EquiBiotics line of post-biotic cosmetic solutions, the result of synergy between the established cosmetic expertise of the Italian outfit and the extensive probiotics know-how of its sister company SynBalance. This novel approach to post-biotic
ingredients is rooted in a specific proprietary probiotic strain, developed through sophisticated biotechnological processes that both safeguard structural integrity and enhance cosmetic sensory attributes. In addition to EquiBiotics LRh, ideally
suited for intimate care products with demonstrated efficacy in inhibiting pathogen proliferation on the vaginal epithelium, the newly introduced EquiBiotics LA emerges as an ideal ally for addressing sensitive skin requirements. Its substantiated anti-inflammatory
properties and exceptional moisturizing capabilities yield noteworthy results in skin barrier protection and microbiome rebalancing.

Roka Furadada (2D12) is bringing its top two products to in-cosmetics Global 2024. The Barcelona company will showcase ROKA Cirkle Sotabosk in the Innovation Zone. This multifunctional product is said to be the first lignin based liquid ingredient that can be integrated into emollients. Derived from paper industry Kraft lignin,
it balances the microbiome of scalp and skin, and it acts as a formula preservative while contributing to the circular economy. Its golden hue is reminiscent of its pinewood origin, and it provides a sophisticated touch to the final formulation. Also, Roka Furadada will be sharing
the new efficacy studies of the company’s flagship ingredient, ROKA Smart UV PvB 360. This disruptive UV active adapts to the environmental conditions protecting from solar radiation when it is most needed. In vitro studies have shown that the
active prevents photoageing by protecting mitochondrial DNA from damage caused by UVA. In vivo tests show that it also prevents pigmentation in real sun exposure conditions and, furthermore, the active ingredient stops hair colour fading.
