Vicki Barboiu heads DSM-Firmenich personal care in North America
Swiss-Dutch ingredients maker DSM-Firmenich has appointed Vicki Barboiu as head of personal care in North America. Barboiu joined DSM in 2015 as
regional commercial and demand planning manager for personal care in North America before progressing to become regional COO for Nutrition and Care. Prior to that, Barboiu served over ten years at Symrise’s New
Jersey office in Teterboro, where she was a global account director. DSM-Firmenich said the Penn
State University MBA graduate and Chinese speaker has demonstrated “exceptional leadership and expertise” throughout her tenure at the company. “I am thrilled to join the Personal
