IN-COSMETICS GLOBAL 2024 PREVIEW
Paris programme to push beauty boundaries
Roziani Zulkifli - in-cosmetics Global event director
in-cosmetics Global, the leading global event dedicated to personal care ingredients, has unveiled its full programme for what is set to be one of the biggest events to date. The exhibition will return to Paris, France on 16-18 April, offering attendees invaluable opportunities to network, source ingredients, and formulate the next generation of cosmetic creations. The show will arrive at the City of Lights
against the backdrop of a growing global beauty and personal care market, set to grow at an annual rate of 3.33% (CAGR 2024-2028), generating a revenue of $646.2 billion (€590 billion) in 2024. The largest segment of this growth is expected in personal care, estimated to reach a market volume of $282.8bn. Taking place at the Paris Expo Porte de
Versailles, more than 900 leading personal care ingredient suppliers will be in attendance, including headline sponsor, KSM, and the top 20 global suppliers, including BASF, Croda, Ashland, Clariant, Evonik, Nouryon, DSM, Symrise and more. New suppliers joining the event for the first time include Aloe Oil and Butter, Curie Co, ExoLab Italia, Foodyworm, Boreal Bioproducts and many more.
Three pillars of success This year’s event will be based on a triumvirate of core pillars: science, innovation, and sustainability, and various features of the show will reflect and embody these themes. With research partner Euromonitor International highlighting consumers’ ongoing efforts to protect the planet, sustainability remains a focus across the entire show floor. In its trends predictions for 2024, the market
research company found more than 60% of consumers tried to have a positive impact on the environment, while 45% reported feeling like they were personally contributing to climate change. As such, the event will help champion a greener, more eco-conscious industry. The Sustainability Zone, in partnership with
The Green Chemist Consultancy and Ecovia Intelligence, is devoted to inspiring, offering information, and uncovering opportunities for brands to be more sustainable.
New sustainability forum This year, the Sustainability Zone encompasses other features, including the Sustainability Display and Theatre, both sponsored by AAK, the Sustainability Pavilion, powered by
